As we move along into the year, we leave January behind us and look forward to our future. This month we focus on our power of Strength. With last month being the month of Faith, it follows suit that Strength is next, as it takes Strength to keep our Faith in the face of what we often experience in the world. With Strength as our sustaining power, linked with our focusing power of Will, we are empowered to hold our faith in the Truth through the most difficult circumstances.
A prime example of this is set by our sisters and brothers of color. Their persistence in the face of past and ongoing discrimination is a celebration of the Power of Strength. As they continue to strive for the equality that is theirs as children of God, an example of Strength is set for all students of Truth and indeed all humankind. As this month is also Black History month, let us all join in celebrating the accomplishments of Black Americans who have contributed so much to the greatness of our nation, proving the Power of Strength in the presence of adversity.
With You in the Heart of Christ,
Rev. David
